Who can use the Library's 3D printer?

Answer

The Library has two different 3D printers. We have three Makerbots which use PLA or TOUGH filament and a Projet460 Plus which uses gypsum. The Library's 3D printers are located on the 3rd floor in the Innovation Lab. Any UNO student, staff, or faculty member may use the equipment.

Want to use the Makerbots on your own? Contact Lora (lamsberr@uno.edu), Brian (bmcdonal@uno.edu), or Robert (ryates2@uno.edu). We can help you get started. Ask us about our 3D workshops too!

Bring your own filament to print for free using the Makerbot printers.

The Projet460 Plus is a little more complex. We charge $4/cubic inch to print on this machine.
